The Birds

I’m at St Michael, on the front porch, waiting for the doors to open. A couple of woodpeckers are discussing things on the telephone pole out front; a blue jay was bopping around, knocking down fruit, in a tree overhanging the patio; and crows are ripping through the trees across the street behind me.

There’s quite a bit of other squawking, tweeting, twittering, squammering, and other carryings-on, too.

The sun is just now starting to break out from the overcast.

Ah! A new day in Boulder Creek!

The View from St Michael’s Front Door…

…another time of day (waiting for the gang for rehearsal). It was a most pleasant evening, and we ended up rehearsing on the front porch.

The View from St Michael's Front Door

I’m waiting at the door before Mass, since I don’t have a key (praise Jehovah!!), and can’t resist the view (if I could get these into a panorama shot, the top shot is far right and the bottom shot is far left:

Fan Club

I filled in for Celia at St Michael again this morning; Tom buzzed up, again, too.

After the Offertory song, before Fr Bob started the prayer, there came a “Yay!!” from the side of the church to the choir’s left, from a small, cheerful, slightly noisy (but certainly not obnoxious) boy. Everybody in the church heard him, and were most amused.         :-D
